At GB GARDENS we undertake a wide variety of general garden maintenance from basic weeding to hedge cutting and every aspect in between.
Mowing
Some customers just require their lawns cut on a regular basis. Mowing of lawns includes cutting off all lawn edges with edging shears, then go round any obstacles like trees, flower beds, patios etc with strimmers then the initial mow with a rear roller mower to get that classic striped finish. And to finish the job off any hard standing with grass clippings on will been blown to leave the job as tidy as possible.
Why lose time on your weekend cutting your grass when we can come in and get it done for you so you can enjoy the time in the garden.
Strimming
If you have a large area of overgrown vegetation we can get it strimmed back to ground level with all the waste removed.
Lawn care
We can undertake lawn care services. This could include anything from regular lawn fertilising, lawn weed and feed, lawn scarification ( at the correct time of year, not like some lawn care companies who fit it in when they want ), lawn aeration or complete re-turfing.

Weeding
Are your beds, borders, pathways, driveways or patio getting overtaken by weeds, we can come in and get them under control with either hand weeding or for larger areas of non planted beds or hardstanding areas we can apply weed killers. PA1 and PA6 spraying licence held.
If you have areas of unplanted beds, we can place a weed suppressant membrane and bark chip to keep those areas clear of future weeds.

Planting
Are your beds or planters looking a bit tired or empty? We can suggest plants for the right areas in your garden and get them looking full and colourful throughout the year. All plants are sourced from independent nurseries, Big plant nursery in Ashington or Garden sage in Hassocks.
Hedge cutting and hedge planting
At GB GARDENS we can take on all aspects of hedge cutting, shrub shaping or even planting a whole new hedge for you. Any hedge up to a height of 12 foot we can cut as we have a high set of Henchman tripod ladders and a width of about 8 foot as we have recently purchased a Stihl HLA85 telescopic battery hedge cutter.
Jet washing
Forgotten what the original colour of your pathways, patio or driveway was? With a Karcher k4 pressure washer, we can reveal the original beauty of your hard standing areas. With yearly jet washing, the hard standing areas can be kept clean and tidy.
All waste can be removed from the job at a cost.
We are In the process of purchasing new battery operated machinery. Its better for the environment and quieter for on-site work.
